Tired of retorque the process? Well with our P2uned big stud, there's no need.  Just torque it down the first time and send it!
 
The off the shelf CA625 is not strong enough to hold these "58" heads down.  Hence the reason of the retorque process.  This process means the stud is stretching and in turn the head is moving.  These studs are not meant for over 1000hp.
 
The larger size of the stud increases its load capacity which in turn helps to prevent the cylinder head from lifting and creating head gasket failures.
 
The oversized head studs require drilling and tapping the block.  (no thread inserts needed) The cylinder head will also require a larger head stud hole to accept the studs and dowel.
